Clue (on stage)
Date: Fall 2024
Place: Livingston High School
Job: Stage Manager

I was able to secure and implement a free subscription of the theatrical documentation software called ShowBuilder. I met the creator when I attended the Broadway Stage Management Symposium in NYC. He gave me a demonstration of the software and told me he could provide our high school with an educational subscription. I organized a meeting with him and my technical director and director at school and I have been spearheading all of the implementation of the software since we started using it this fall. We are the first high school to implement this site into a school setting and I've been going back and forth with the creator on calls and via email with questions that have arose. This photo shows where I added members of the cast and crew in ShowBuilder. So far, we are super happy with it. It has been working out great and saving us a lot of time. I am proud of this accomplishment because it allowed me to utilize business and negotiation skills to leave a lasting legacy on our school’s theater program.

As part of my pre production work, I added the Running Order into the ShowBulider software, which allowed me to add subsections indicating which scene each character is in.

As part of implementing ShowBulider, I could keep track of conflicts in a new and modern way. I had the actors put in the conflicts, which I then approved and sent to a master conflict calendar.
