Livingston Chinese Culture Day

​I managed the main stage performance, which featured a diverse range of acts, including dance, magic, orchestral music, and singing. I attended production meetings focused on load-in, setup, and finalizing the show run. I worked one-on-one with the event organizer to cover all aspects of the show, including transitions between numbers and coordinating all moving elements on stage. During the show, I worked backstage, calling cues, managing transitions, and serving as the main point of contact for performers. I created a detailed show run (picture was not taken), outlining all cues, the order of acts, and the placement of set pieces needed on stage. As this was a Chinese New Year show, I navigated a language barrier; however, everything went smoothly, thanks to having a translator present who helped communicate with the talent and ensured we understood what was being said on stage, and by using my communication skills through gestures at times.
